HAUNTED GAME
For this university project, I developed concepts for a 2D side-scrolling video game where the player controls a single eyeball as the main character. The game features three backgrounds—cemetery, catacombs, and haunted castle—and the eyeball character, which can roll and jump. The game explores three distinct settings: a cemetery filled with crooked tombstones and shifting shadows, catacombs with endless tunnels and claustrophobic walls, and a haunted castle, where arches, windows, and dim torchlight create a Gothic atmosphere. Each scene uses layered scrolling and subtle animation to give depth and tension to the setting, while still maintaining the stripped-down 2D aesthetic.
