This piece was created for an art competition and is inspired by the idea that even in decay, nature holds a quiet beauty. I wanted to capture that autumn feeling of warmth and fading at the same time. That’s why I leaned into red tones for the richness of fall, while adding blue and grey for the season’s stillness and decline. For me, it’s about the contrast between life and death in nature, and how both can exist together in a way that feels striking rather than bleak.
